C'mon guys, with all the skillz and knowledge on this forum.. all the brilliant dev's runnin around here, and NOBODY can come up with a way to change the font color in text messages???!!

Theres gotta be a string or something somewhere that controls this!
What would be way cool is the ability to change only the incoming or outgoing bubble text color.

I have been looking thru .plist files and searching this and other forums for hours... and NOTHING?!?

Somebody knows how this can be done.... PLEASE share??
Praise the Devs! To each and every one of you who spend your time writing code and making apps for little or no profit... Its YOU that makes the iPhone great, NOT Apple!! From me to you, a million thanks!!

Well, I've played around with various keys and for the sake of not having anyone reinvent the wheel, I figured I'd provide the list of keys which haven't done a *dam* thing. If we're going to crack this, I'm convinced the info.plist is where it will happen, but we can't use these keys:
    TEXTSMSStyle
    TextStyle
    UIText
    UITextStyle
    SMSStyle
    SMSText
    SMSTextStyle
    MobileSMSStyle
    MobileSMSText
    MobileSMSTextStyle
    MobileSMSTextColor
    DefaultText
    DefaultUIText
    DefaultUITextStyle
    DefaultUIStyle (crash)
    DefaultSMSText
    DefaultSMS
    DefaultMobileSMS
    DefaultMobileSMSStyle
    DefaultMobileSMSText
    DefaultTextStyle
    TEXTColor

Cheers to whoever can find the way to edit this.

I assume this is not possible either. This would really be helpful especially with the darker sms balloons that some themes have

TTT! Is there any luck with this? I do everything via iFile because I have no computer at the moment... I found a plist that has txt color listed but it gives a number value...

    Thanks

Unfortunately, there's been no breakthrough. There are a number of font colors we'd still like to crack, but as far as I know, no one has been able to do it.
Assuming your plist isn't one within a theme (i.e., is a system plist) what keys does it have? I've never really stopped looking for a solution, but I have given up hope. None of the myriad of plists I've found have worked. I don't know how familiar you are with the language I'm using here, so: the "key" is the property identifier before the line which specifies the values for it. It'll be contained between <key> * </key> in the plist.
