I have searched and tried decompressing them for 2 hours now and I'd rather have someone tell me directly how to do it. I have gone to release78.org but everytime I try any png, I get the error
    "Site Error

An error was encountered while publishing this resource.

    Error Type: IOError
Error Value: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/var/www/upload/iupload/42420903_Icon.png'

Then I tried Python but I don't understand 1 file in the entire thing that I downloaded.

Can someone who knows an easier way please explain this to me?

Before we go any further I want to tell you that this method is for OSX.

    1. Download the attached file
    2. Unzip it
    3. Download Python.app and install it.
    4. Place this attached file in a folder on your desktop (Call it "Image Fix" or something)
    5. Set the attached file to open with Python by default
    6. SSH the images from your iPhone or iPod Touch into the folder you created
    7. Double click on the attached file
    8. It will open up Terminal and say
    [+] Searching PNG files... ok
     - X PNG files were found at this folder (and subfolders).
[?] Do you want to normalize all images (Y/N)?
    9. Press Y and then return.
    10. Images converted.

The method works for Vista also, all you have to do is download Python for Vista. Everything else is the same, just replace Terminal for Cmd.

Python Download for Windows x86: http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.5.4/python-2.5.4.msi

    From: Python 2.5.4 Release

How exactly in OS X (10.5.x) do you set the attached file to open with Python, as Python is built in (i am assuming it is either in dev tools, or used through terminal).
