I'm going to try my hand at a theme (I figure I'm an illustrator, I should have an iPhone that looks the way I want, right?), but I'm noticing in the themes I download to get an idea of file sizes and such that each icon is in a separate folder with it's application name and a ".DS_Store" file.

So, when doing a theme, can I use ANY ".DS_Store" file, or do I need a custom one?

I know this is probably a dumb rookie question, but hey, I'm a dumb rookie and want to learn as much as I can.

Thanks ahead of time for any help!

You don't need this file at all.

.DS_Store is a file created a the computer, usually when a folder is stored on an external drive. .DS_Store tells the computer where the files are located, what's there, exe. on the drive

A .DS_Store is a Mac only file that saves folder attributes, and is a local and network folder file.
Until the next time… And if I help you out, give me a "Thanks!" Thanks!
