I have an Ipad, it's Jailbroken with os 3.2 using Spirit. Tomorrow, I hope to get an Iphone 4. I will have to update to 9.2.

If at some point I have a problem and need to restore the Ipad, can I just uninstall all traces of Itunes 9.2 and install itunes 9.1.1 (saved a copy) restore, and then rejailbreak via spirit?

After Itunes 9.2 is installed, can I restore OS 3.2 to the Ipad and just not Jailbreak it?

Does anyone know if this is going to cause a giant cluster f when Ipad OS 4.0 comes out?

The communities help is appreciated. I'm nervous enough that I'm loosing MyWi for my JB'd Iphone 3.1.3 to up to the 4.

    I have a similar question to Binkky's:
I already have iTunes 9.2 and want to jailbreak my iPad (vers. 3.2 obviously). I know I can't use Spirit with iTunes 9.2, is there any other way to JB my iPad at this time?

A 3rd party updated Spirit to work with iTunes 9.2, not sure how reliable it is but google it, it's in the news today.

I use a PC, but what i have done is kept itunes 9 on my laptop and i use this for jailbreaking with spirit, and then sync as normal with the updated itunes 9.2 on my desktop. People are wary of re-jailbreaking for instance just in case they get caught in this 'infinite loop' thing. But i can honestly assure you that it is still safe to use spirit on another PC or Mac running a lower version than 9.2 of itunes, and then sync with itunes 9.2......Hope this helps :-)
