Care to elaborate on how they got it working? I can't seem to do that at the moment. I've tried a few times... Is there a special procedure that they did?

I restarted after the first fail. Second one still failed. On the first release earlier I actually restored to factory to check but restoring all my data took forever. I'm not going to risk it this late at night only to find a dead device and not be able to use it tomorrow. Anyone who's successfully jailbroken their ipad 3G?
DaiC is correct! I learned that those succeeded by deleting safari history and cache, reboot and safari to jailbreakme.com.

    Not able to try this now {In Work}

Try clearing out the web browser cache / history etc then reboot before retrying.

Some peps have had success this way.
Be patient! Too many jailbreakers trying to connect to the server at the same time!

Well I waited for the thing to show up every time... Even played a YouTube video of some guys jail breaking their iPad so I can sync it and know when it's suppose to be jailbroken. Im not sure what the issue is but I don't think its the load of the website. I also want to note that after every failed attempt to jb, my keyboard clicks disappear until next reboot. Weird huh..

Does anyone know the issue as to why its only iPad users who are getting only these forced restarts and (never ending) Purple screens? It seems like we are the only ones being left out in the rain while everyone is inside partying

Ok now my device is back to getting force restarts. Only this time it takes much much longer for the ipad to boot up. It thought it was maybe coz I plugged it in to charge, but it's doing the same thing now unplugged. Grrrrr...

    I think we're all pretty clear that a Wi-Fi iPad 3.2.1 will JB okay, but a 3G iPad won't.

If you've a 3G iPad I suggest waiting until Comex gets up and following him on Twitter for the latest news. I don't think it's something we will be able to solve through trial and error.

Have you tried the clear cookies, clear cache and clear history stuff? This hasn't worked for me but some say it does work.

The new upload from Comex doesn't reboot anymore. I only get the background image (the purple cloud picture thingy). I'm not sure if jailbreakme.modmyi.com has been updated yet (I checked this morning and it was not). I have also tried clearing history/cookie/cache and restarting. I also tried turning on cookies as "always", turned off filters. None of the above seems to be working....

So far, no updates from Comex on Twitter...

Seems to be working now, as in, I just JB'd my 3g.

All I did was clear safari data and hit the main jailbreakme.com site.

Just gotta work with Cydia now.

    Hillsdale,

Thanks for the video. The jailbreak worked with the 3.2.1 pdf on jailbreak.com/_/

I downloaded and installed SBsettings and Backgrounder but neither app is showing on the springboard however.

Only cydia and my regular apps show. Any ideas on why this may be?
