    Apple have released the new 4.1 beta firmware this is an update to mainly give iPhone users a more accurate reading of your signal reception now with this its advised that you back up your shsh file so that you may downgrade back to 4.0 firmware even when apple have stopped signing this firmware. Step 1) Download Tiny Umbrella for Mac or Windows thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com Step 2) Connect your iDevice Via USB Step 3) Open Tiny Umbrella and Click save shsh file this is the top left hand button Step 4) Your ShSh file is now saved for ever more when it comes for you to downgrade you will need to make sure you have the 4.0 firmware saved for your device have this on the desktop if you need to download the firmware this is a good link: www.felixbruns.de Step 5) The downgrade Make sure tiny umbrella software is open now sellect TSS Server top right hand button now you will need to open iTunes up and shift click restore so that you may sellect the 4.0 firmware on your desktop that you wish to downgrade to

    I don't even know where to begin. That was by far the hardest paragraph I've ever had to read and with absolutely no clear point at all.

    It was Firmware 4.0.1 that changed the reception algorithm which came out a LOOOONG time ago.

    4.1 is on beta 3 or beta 4 at the moment. It's announced with every update in our news section.
