How come iPhone 4 themes don't work on iPad?
What's the reason when you enable them nothing happens?
And is it easy to change?

    Thanks.

iPad themes are not configured the same way. They're quite different because of the screen size and the image sizes. You'd probably have to go in and change everything to be compatible for it. Probably easier just to download a theme made for the iPad.

i.Annie is correct. You would have to change file directories, covert from retina display to standard display, and a good bit of other things. You can find a iPad theme since there is a really good selection out there now.

Well the reason I asked this is because of the lack of good iPad themes. But thanks anyway!

No I'm not. I don't want themes that just make new icons. I want themes like on iPhone that really change the look.

Something like LiveOS, OS7 or Dezire.

Those are icon modifications except for OS7. the other ones the icons are just enlarge or modified and they incorporate springjumps with the themes.

If you want one of those themes you might consider learning how to modify them to work with the iPad.

I've already looked into porting those exact themes. Perpagehtml doesn't support the iPad without some hacking which I don't know if its possible, large icons will work but quality seems to be reduced when using an icon folder as opposed to bundle identifiers and the latter doesn't allow larger icons. and the rotation is another issue as there is no way to set a wallpaper or html widget that rotates and works landscape
