Extract to: [email protected]k, replace file [email protected]k in path: system/library/framework/UKIT.framework. Done!

Could you describe what you changed in the artwork file in case anyone wants to work on their own artwork files instead of copying the one you linked? For example, I have an artwork file already modified and don't want to lose those changes, but I do want a transparent status bar.

    Thanks in advance.

Status bars are named [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]. To create a transparent one, simply make a transparent image (probably doesn't matter what size, but 10x40 will definitely be safe) and save it as any, or all of the above. Translucent is used on the springboard. Save this in the UIImages folder of your theme (if using winterboard)
Hit 'thanks' if I helped, email [email protected] with questions, requests, and compliments

I think like the above person, I don't want to use winterboard and can make a transparent image very simply in photoshop. I would love to know how to edit the actual .artwork file which to my knowledge has image files for a lot of parts to the phone in one large file that can be broken up. like carrier bars, pop up windows, wifi signal etc (which are edited in the above file that was shared with us).

as MastahRiz said, would love to edit our own .artwork files, in which case are not using winterboard.
as we can edit any images within the artwork file but believe there is a process to separate them out to do so

Damn, I thought I finally found my answer... well, I did, but the provided file gave me a Clear/Transparent statusbar but caused some other issues.

I'm on a 4s, wonder what model this file was for?

    Best Regards...

Well it's for 5.0.1 firmware. What firmware are u on? if u are on iOS 6 things are a little bit different. I tested this myself and there a few issues with trying to run clear/transparent status bars in iOS 6.

All Retina devices use the same [email protected]k.

    Hi,

Sorry I failed to mention it... I'm on 6.1.2

The issue I had was when I opened iFile the app froze. I did a re-spring several times and restart but I still had the problem so I reverted back to original file and all is well.

    Thanks and Best Regards...
