    Okai guys i found a fix to the foldericons, open up the original 118x124 [email protected]~iPhone.png now resize your folder icon to fit it perfectly, when you have done that move it down just two pixels. And it fits like a charm

    I can still see theres abit size difference tho... if looked on closely. hmm.

    Wait, I thought the default size was supposed to be 118x120.

    Edit: Nevermind. Saw your old comment.

    Pfffffff, sounds like a right faff! But thanks for figuring this out, hehe!

    It'd be handy if the tweak had a means to offset the icons so we wouldn't have to resize, though

    iOS resizes/applies masks to System apps and User apps differently. Using 118x120 sized icons (no need for an apostrophe in that word) for User apps, regardless of how they are created, is not a preference... it's straight up incorrect.
    I'm not being imperialistic or rude here. I'm providing the correct answer to a question posted on the thread. If others on the thread want dodgy black borders around their user app icons, they can set up their ugly iDevice however they want, but in order to apply themes correctly, this is the advice that should be followed.
    Since Jaku has been created by a professional, with skill AND taste, I recommend looking through the theme structure and following the standards applied throughout.

    Truth is
    114x114px icons are for :
    applications which got on your device through the AppStore or iTunes sync ;
    WebClips ;
    cracked applications.
    These would look WRONG with 118x120px icons as iOS will force reduce the images on the canvas and create a thicker black border.
    118x120px icons are for :
    applications which iOS originally comes with ;
    applications/tweaks which you install through Cydia.
    Wrongly using 114x114px icons for these system applications will result in having them displayed enlarged by iOS to fill up what a 118x120px canvas would use.

    The differences are noticeable due to the fact 114x114 or 118x120 icons designed for iOS only have the transparent canvas with the size difference. The visible (opaque) part of the icons are sized the same on both.

    The fact William Szilveszter included two icon templates for Photoshop users doesn't specifically require them strictly using one or another for making their icons. It only makes it easier when actually saving the icons for WinterBoard use. Because you do need to reduce your canvas around the icons meant for AppStore apps/WebClips to the 114x114 canvas, as you need to save your System icons on a 118x120px transparent canvas for theming that type of app.
    The theme in my posts is 3 4 All, by Sk37cH.

    The numerous versions released, and infinite versatility, beats IconOmatic mods. By quality.

    There's nothing to "leave".
    I don't think you thoroughly understood my response. Please read it again, because at the moment i don't feel like reiterating my previous comment in verbiage you or others may be more readily to comprehend. There are others that understood exactly what i said.
    However, i will repeat this,
    "IF YOU HAVE PS YOU CAN CAN CREATE ICONS USING THE SIZE OF YOUR CHOOSING. THIS WILL ELIMINATE THE BLACK BORDERS". Please let's not knit pick. And choose your battles wisely. Thank You.
    There we go. Some nice relaxing color mixes. Let's all take a breath together....wu sa, wu sa....lol

    Please hit the "Report Post" link at the bottom of any post if anyone believes that members are not staying on topic and the mods will deal with it. We can't babysit every post in every thread, so we need your help.
    Also, Mods are also discussing locking down this thread for a few days if this BS continues. No one, including me, wants to see that happen.

    Goddamn... I have folder icons in here already from auros and Edgy, but they don't have the @2x suffix. Going to have to rename them.

    Therefore this response to your request is disrespectful.
    Come on guys. Can we be more courteous towards one another. This is why people dislike this thread. It's not the theme but the people in this thread.
