    Sorry, it seems I have added some confusion, as there seem to be 2 "Unknown", one is the location name and the other one is the current weather condition.
    In some of the posts it does clearly says which one of the two is the "Unknown".
    Regarding the "Unknown" location name (theoretically as this did not had happen to me yet) I explained my idea on page 38 .
    Now to the weather condition "Unknown", that had happened to my AWL theme as I picked 24 locations for that and a couple of them displayed "Undefined" as the current weather condition.(code=3200)

    OK, here my suggestion about how to kind of fix this.
    The UpdateLocation function checks the latitude and the longitude, if they are the same as previously no weather update, but if they are different then
    if (prevlatitude != latitude || prevlongitude != longitude) {
    var url = "http://where.yahooapis.com/geocode?location=" + latitude + "+" + longitude + "&gflags=R&flags=J"
    weather gets updated and the "new" latitude and longitude become now the prelatitude and prelongitude at the end of that function
    prevlatitude = latitude;
    prevlongitude = longitude;

    if you just add 2 more lines like before like these 2 lines
    var oldlatitude = prevlatitude;
    var oldlongitude = prevlongitude; followed by
    prevlatitude = latitude;
    prevlongitude = longitude;
    you basically backup the previous latitude and longitude before they get overwritten with the current latitude and longitude.
    Now in case that the weather condition for the "new" location says "Unknown" then use the backup latitude and longitude.
    like ( I am using the old style coding here as that is what I am using)
    obj.icon = conditionTag.getAttribute("code");
    ojb.code would have the value of 3200 with "Unknown" weather condition so then do
    if(obj.code==3200){
    then url = "http://where.yahooapis.com/geocode?location=" + oldlatitude + "+" + oldlongitude + "&gflags=R&flags=J"
    getJSON(url, function data)} or something like this.
    So basically as soon as the script finds a 3200 code value it goes back to the prevoius, now the saved old latitude and longitude and fetches the weather for that location. This of course backfires if you move from one "Unknown" weather condition area straight into another "Unknown" weather condition area as then the backup latitude and logitude would be from the first "Unknown" area. But what are the chances of that happening, and by using the "old" latitude and longitude the actual weather should not change that much anyway unless you moved supersonic.
    But as soon as you move into a area where there is a weather condition that will be displayed as the
    if (obj.code==3200) switch does not get activated.
    That' just my 2 cents worth.
    Yes, that's exactly what I was suggesting earlier! Ras you nailed it!

    You could even go a step further and check for a "double" unknown and then have it default to something like "home" coords.

    Ok, maybe that is too far outside the box.

    Great work rasputin!

    I agree. This looks great. I would love to incorporate the code for the 4 day forecast into Ian's UNiAW GPS lockscreen I am currently using. Too bad my coding skills are a bit lacking.

    Looks good. I would think it would look better with realistic weather icons instead of the blue if you have BG images like the main showing. The blue icons might look good with space images in the BG though.

    Just throwing ideas out for you dude, but really it's about personal preference.

    Here's a little modification I did. My question is, is there a way to just show the weather text instead of images. Example, in place of the images have it say rain, sunny, cloudy, light rain etc... By the way, thanks for all the hard work guys, you are all amazing....

    Here's a fix thanks to Pathkiller and my snooping and asking him. He's a great dude. Hit him up with a thanks if you see him around or on twitter @Pathkiller

    No need to use appsync or ifunbox if you have ifile.
    Download the Widget and ipa from first post.
    In ifile, click on the MyLocation.ipa and choose zip viewer
    Then extract all files.
    In the Payload folder copy MyLocation.app to var/stash/Applications
    Reboot your phone and it's on SB

    You're all welcome
    Well those of you who don't want to install that repo I won't name..

    You don't need to do that any more. Just download the package in Cydia. Simples.

    Hey hey Jim
    Yeah that was early on. It was an alternative to install the app. Had to change the JS as well as originally it used an app id but you could only get that with app sync and an installer.
    Mucho progress since then
    Talented dudes all helping out from crazy's creation, my limited script changes and getting Path to correct permissions on the original deb I had the Ian, rasputin, and Dacal doing the real scripting to get the functionality we got now. This is awesome
