    I guess I still have to learn to test every option after I make a change to see if I screwed something else up. I just assumed that since the other options worked, my new changes wouldn't affect them. So much for my first attempt to try and impress you Ian, epic fail on my part trying to rush around

    I will take another whack at it with the new code to try to redeem myself, but this time I will test it completely before I post it up again.
    If you want bro, shoot it to me when you are done. I test a lot of widgets for peeps.

    Not at all Drifter, everybody is under the impression I am some wonder coder, nothing as further from the truth, the original UniAW took me months to code, it was my first time coding anything and I guess I was a little ambitious I was on the net for hours at a time learning as I went.

    I am more of a "trial & error" kinda coder without really knowing the theory behind it all, but this is fine for me, I can usually get the job done eventually. Don't know if you ever saw the UniAW version 1, but I used iFrame and a million 'n' one html files for each weather condition With lots of help from Dacal we finally got rid of iFrame

    You guys here are blowing my away with all your knowhow, I am the one learning from you all.

    PS, glad Yahoo undid whatever they did and all our widgets are working again.

    @Ian
    There's a way around getting widgets to show outside of the plist boundaries.
    I made it work a while back cause I wanted full screen weather animation over the icons as an iWidget.
    Easiest method is to ensure all text and image divs use a WebKit animation of any sort
    Can be as simple as a fade in delay.
    As long as they are animated you're not left with plist constraints and can touch icons under the widget provide the plist size left over is not on them.

    My animated weather one uses a 320x20 plist yet the widget is 320x400

    Hello good evening here in Palma island, I want to add the letter Spanish alphabet, as can I do this?. Thanks in advance

    Brea Baja Instead of Brena Baja

    If its a weather description it will be in the main js
    You can change the letter there. Although I'm not sure if it will show up with certain fonts.

    Thanks for that info Durban, so this means I can do the UniAW as an iWidget, with loads of options

    That's what annoys me about the scale, you can scale the widget down but the dimentions in the plist still make it take up too much room.

    Found my error in the coding I called the 100% option in the options.plist "100" and in the script I put "full" Ugh, simple mistake.

    Anyways got it sorted and tested with all possible combinations:

    Sorry for all the "beta" versions posted, I have updated all my links

    Download here: Ians Flip_Clock with Drifter Options.zip

    Edit: Sorry Ian, just seen that you posted a fixed version as well. Good work mate

    Edit x2 : Yep, just downloaded your version and I seen when you changed the options.plist to your recommended values and modified the script, they all matched, so the widget didn't fail. I did notice on your version that you left the WebKit-transform scale in the wrapper styling, once it's scripted as a option you won't need it in the styling anymore if I remember right, JavaScript styling takes precedence over CSS, so it shouldn't really matter, both ways work but I think it's cleaner without.

    Ha ha... Drifter, this just confirms my last post, I fixed it but didn't notice you did that, I'm just lucky I guess.

    Excellent screen shot BTW.

    We've got flip clocks for download all over the place

    Did you also fix the cut off on the top and left? I also fixed this + added a 120 option, (see screen shot at 120)

    Do you have this in the head section of your .html file?

    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/>

    And this at the top of the html file?

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    I used you new HTML and just re-added my scale scripts back in, I did change them from 60-120% in 20% increments in the options.plist and the scripts because you recommended those values in your updated HTML comments. That's when I caught my error

    The screen shots on my last post show the different sizes from 60-120% scale, as far as my old eyes can tell I, cannot see any clipping, but my eyes have been known to deceive me If you think it looks good then I think it's finally sorted

    Heres a screenshot of it running on my iPod Touch 5G

    Thanks again Ian for supplying a Great looking FlipClock,
    I think its gonna go great with a lot of different themes

    Try changing the 16 on the top to an 8, also try a TT Font like Arial or something just to be sure it isn't the font you are using, other than that I'm stumped, If you give us your location co-ordinates from the MyLocation.txt file (var/mobile/documents) we can test it on different widgets, but I'm going to sleep now!!

    EDIT:

    Just had a thought, try removing this line completely:
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/>

    then try leaving the top line with double byte encoding (16) if that doesn't work try it on single byte encoding (8) but I'm sure if you have those two lines they should both have the same type of encoding i.e single = 8, double = 16.

    Good luck.

    Thanks for this

    I'm pretty sure it's the font if native language settings don't set it
    That widget uses system font for what it shows.
    Can try to use default font in BytaFont and see if it shows to test.

    My bro DaddyKool posted that on the Auros thread This one is called "auros dk gps iWidget". He made 2 versions of this, weather and slideshow. Auros has a Dropbox with this and many more widgets, so it should be easy to find
