    Exactly what causes the safe mode.
    Thank you for the confirmation.
    Sloppy coding on my part! Sorry guys! 😞
    No need to be sorry...I learnt something, so I'm happy Plus, I tested the widget, and didn't pick it up, so it's partly my fault I was just too eager to see my weather images in action, that I skipped the default options Thank you.

    How easy/hard is it to convert html widgets into iWidgets? I want to convert the "IO_SBSpin_I" html widget into an iWidget instead of having it on every page. I have zero knowledge of html so if it's too tough then nvm.

    This is the iWidgets thread. Why would you recommend to someone to use PPHTML? If you don't want to help, please don't reply.

    It's really not that difficult. Basically you can add a plist file to define the size of the iWidget. Your "height" value may need to be different.

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
      <key>size</key>
      <dict>
        <key>width</key>
        <integer>320</integer>
        <key>height</key>
        <integer>100</integer>
      </dict>
    </dict>
    </plist>
    Then you would eliminate any wallpaper that it may be using internally. Finally you may need to adjust the positioning of some elements to reduce the "foot print" of the widget. The last step is not required, but if you wanted, you can convert the config file to an options.plist file.

    I sounds like a lot, but its really not that bad once you do it.

    don´t want to help?! ähm yes ..
    Cool, if he needs additional help, please throw it out there bro.

    Wow that worked, you're amazing and thanks so much!

    The widget is huge and covers some of my icons, is it possible to set it so that my icons are on top?

    You either forgot the step of removing any wallpaper the widget was using as a background. King mentioned that too. - or the original widget's top and left values all need to be moved higher on the page - which is a pretty involved editing session of the main.css file.

    King - the only step you're leaving out which I think is the hardest or at least most time consuming step in converting to iWidget is moving all theme elements to the upper leftmost position in the screen. Without this step the iWidget will be impossible to move around and have the check mark off the screen. Not to mention covering icons. The widget.plist doesn't do this automatically.

    I checked the images, and there's nothing that I know of that needs removing I think. The widget is pretty huge, takes up about 1/3 of the screen and I'm fine with the size. I just need my icons to not be hidden behind some parts of the widget. Is there any code that can help me to do that?

    Edit- to clarify, the widget is a vertical widget and takes up about half the entire right side of the screen. I change the height in the plist King gave me from 100 to 640, so now the widget completely covers all my icons except my dock icons. I also have an additional small widget that just states the date which is hidden as well. I don't really need it but it would be nice if I can get that to be shown as well.

    Changed the height to 640:

    As you can see now all my icons are hidden, and the "eye" of the widget doesn't get cut off halfway like it did in the first screenshot.

    Which part of that widget do you want to be turned into an iWidget? The whole thing? The whole thing is one giant image that will always cover your icons. If you just want the little ball thing at the top we might be able to get you that. But I'm having trouble understanding what part you want to turn into an iWidget? Most iWidgets are small sections of text or small images. Not an entire page image. King O Hill can take it from here.

    I want the entire right side plus the small area below the status bar where there's the shiny red line - that's part of the widget as well.

    I also want my icons to be able to overlap part of the widget on the right. I have 10 icons (5x2 bottom configuration) but 3 of them were hidden as shown in the first screenshot.

    Pretty sure that will not be possible. iWidgets always run on top of icons. Though icons can be pressable through an iWidget, the black wallpaper aspect of your background would always cover them up in terms of the black color and opacity. Additionally the iWidget.plist, that defines the boundaries of the widget, needs to be some square or rectangular shape. It can't really have multiple angles curving around things as you describe. What you really want is a tweak called PerPageHTML To put that widget behind your icons on one page only.
