I have installed both versions on my 4S, I cannot get them to activate by doing the long press. I also noticed that there is no plist in the Preferences folder. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hey Drifter thanks, that worked great.

On your new layout I like the wall paper. It looks really good.
I got that from the Boss Thread, Made by Lucys for a NateD MiOS mod.

Just passing it along, here is a copy

It seems like there is a bit of a lull from new widgets being posted. Is there anything cool and exciting down the pipeline anyone cares to share?

That always happens around here at the launch of a new iPhone or new iOS. Folks are more interested in when the new jailbreak is available. From now til December (my guess as to when we'll have an untethered jailbreak for iOS6) the creativity here will sadly wane a bit. :-(

Do you use the tweak called "Infiniboard"? If so, they're incompatible. iWidget won't work while Infiniboard is installed.

Here is a teaser of my current project, RSS iWidgets with Options.

Current options will include a choice of background and text colors, as well as multiple RSS Feed choices.

I'm making two version available, one for News Feeds and another dedicated to Sports Related Feeds.

Here are a few screenshots of the progress so far:

    [Tweak] iWidgets-img_0840.png

    [Tweak] iWidgets-img_0841.png

    [Tweak] iWidgets-img_0844.png

I got most of the hard stuff coded, just need a few different overlays to frame the widgets, finish the text color variable option, and then these will be ready.

I am open to suggestions, if you would like to see additional RSS feeds, or other styling options, please post your suggestions and I will try to implement them before I release these.

Credits to my man Mdbrim for the code used in this. Posting it here simply because I am terrible at HTML and I know you guys will most likely come up with some cool stuff using it. This is a slideshow widget that pulls from the camera roll. It's been edited for easy editing and everything is commented. I'm hoping we can see some options added to it like in Chevys ultimate slideshow widget. Right now it's just a simple picture widget. No frame nothing fancy at all. I even took the liberty to make the pictures slightly skewed

Feel free to use it and manipulate. Just make sure you post here what you've done with it.

I've made it an iwidget. That's about it.

I find it strange that nobody has picked this up and added some photoshop magic. Or do all photo widgets pull from the camera rol ?

    Looking forward to these!

Here's my current SB using your weather iwidgets and the sunrise/sunset iwidget you made for me which I'm happy to say I've tested and it is very accurate and very handy to have on my iPhone's springboard.

    Thanks again!

Agreed. iWidgets are simply amazing. It's amazing to watch how the "product" is evolving.

I wish Apple would unofficially endorse the jailbreak and the jailbreaking community as their contributions bring such immense value to the Apple product (pirating aside of course).

Totally agreed. But that will never happen. Apple's too proud of their ethos as 'same experience for all users'.
