    I guess it's because people like to have a stand out part on their sb as I do some use widgets some don't some use vibrant colours other don't its all personal preference. Isakarios posts them and those who like them use and those who are not a fan of them don't use them. If you feel they don't fit your setup simply don't use them.
    Fair enough, gang. thanks for your thoughts!

    AWESOME!! So great!! Thanks Durben, MaxPain and Mones. WONDERFUL!

    The only thing a little weird - is that the center justify of the time readout- when you're using 'seconds' keeps jumping around to accomodate the changing size of different numbers. So a '1' is thin then a '2' come up at 20 seconds and the whole time shifts left. So the effect is that the time readout is always jumping around. Any way to fix that?

    Otherwise AMAZING!

    The time is likely set up as a text align right
    It should be text align center and then you'd have to adjust the left value to move it in place where you want it.

    As far as I know to stop the moving would be to remove the seconds from the clock
    and to do this go to

    DateTime.js scroll down to

    // Compose the string for display

    var currentTimeString = currentHours + ":" + currentMinutes + ":" + currentSeconds;

    Remove

    + ":" + currentSeconds;

    So it looks like so

    var currentTimeString = currentHours + ":" + currentMinutes;

    You will then have no movement

    Thanks The_Durben I am still learning Have tried it
    You are correct

    Changing justify right to center wouldn't prevent the character size changes from making the time readout jiggle. Because length of string would be always changing.

    Also - in the config.js when you change Celsius to Fahrenheit it only changes Hi/Lo and current temp. But the 2 day forecast temps stay Celsius. Could the config.js be written to affect all displayed temps?

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes it does affect it.
    I've a made a widget or two so I do know a bit
    There are two Config.js in that mod. It's Max's originally. You have to edit both for C or F

    You ARE indeed the master, Durben, and in comparison, I'm a rank upstart.. but I tried it and as I predicted - the time still jumped around even with a center justify. The outer text edges of a center justified text 'changes' with respect to the 'full length' of the text. When the seconds position changes from 19 to 20 - the '2' and '0' are fatter than the '1' and the '9' so that pushes the hours position digit to the 'left from center' as well as it would in a right justify though to a lesser degree. The effect WAS less with center justify -but still noticeable to my eyes. Now, OF COURSE, I could still be doing the coding incorrectly.. I'm completely open to that. - but 'logically', to me, from doing a lot of editing in Word at my job, what I expected to happen in going to center justify is what happened; minimal to no change to the jumpiness of the time readout with seconds. I guess what I'm wanting is for the hours and minutes to never change position and only the seconds position to get a bit wider or thinner.

    First one's in Config.js. And the other one would be - where?

    Thanks, Durben!
    EDITED: Ah the other Config.js is in Forecast/Private/Config.js. Found it!

    you can not stop the movement... unless you use a font wich all numbers are the same width

    and for those who wonder why 2 Config files. that's because max and lexs are using the old script of the gps weather and they cannot get forecast with that code and have to use another code to get it

    but with the Forecast code you could get the normal weather too, in that way you can get a cleaner widget and delete a lot of useless things. anyway this is not really important but should be for modders

    BTW Amazing theme!! i'll donate for sure

    Thanks, Schnedi for all your info. I actually HAVE seen a time with seconds display work in several themes without the jumpiness. I'm pretty sure how they made it work was by creating two blocks of text - one with just hour and minute and then one with the seconds only - and then they just manipulated the css to position the two blocks to be in perfect alignment with each other and in that scenario only the seconds position got wider or thinner with a 'non-fixed-width' font. I'll toy around with it as a little project to help keep me learning to code.

    You all are so helpful. I'm learning new things daily!!

    Aligning it center alleviates the push over from the right when it's aligned that way
    I use several clocks and this is not a problem.
    The seconds when activated will always move along with eating away your battery.
    I neve use seconds in clocks. I'll put them in widgets but every one I use on my phone has them turned off.

    This is one reason why I don't like people remaking my mods. Things get set up wrong and there is always a lot less instruction than what I provide. People get confused or errors and I end up fixing a widget for no reason.
    Back to the theme now.

    Yes - the problem was way less with center justify. Agreed. And thanks for the coaching, Durben. In the end - I will always turn off 'seconds' display too. Though it doesn't have as much affect on battery as even GPS widgets do from some testing I've done.

    Thanks again!
