I have an iPod Touch 4g, and I would like to factory restore it to 5.1.1. The only issue is that I upgraded it from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 from the software upgrade function inside settings, and the fireware isn't in my computer. When I try to restore, it downloads the 5.1.1 firmware. The reason why i'm asking is because my download speed is only 125kb/s, and I don't want to wait a few hours just to restore my iPod. Is there any way to restore my iPod without downloading the firmware I already have?

If you need anymore information, please let me know.

    Thanks, Chibichuba.

Nope not possible. You'll have to download the ipsw if you want to restore

It takes a few hours to download IPSW's bro. Doesn't really matter, it will download slow on almost any computer.
