    Afternoon All.

Apologies for my some what naive post, however I attempted to jailbreak my iPad 2 on OS5.11.

I'm having several issues with it, and how I've decided to uninstall the Absinthe and jailbreak, but unsure as to how!?

I have tried the 'Erase All Content And Settings" button, however when I try this, it actually will not do anything other than show a black screen with the 'loading' scrolling circle in the middle of the screen. It does this for about 40 minutes and nothing happens?

Will someone please tell me how I can restore my iPad2 without these issues? I did back up my iPad2 via iTunes before attempting to jailbreak it. If i just plug it into iTunes will this uninstall Absinthe for me?

Apologies again, however I am at work and don't have my laptop with iTunes accessible until I go home this evening.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jamie

You'll have to connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes, and click restore.

That will wipe everything from the iPad but you can get everything back from the backup you did, do you'll ok

iOS 5.0.1 is no longer signed by Apple, meaning: You can no longer restore to it unless you have SHSH blobs. That's why you're getting the 3194 error. Use an iOS 5.1.1 IPSW instead.
