    hi peeps, just whipped up a quick mod of one of schnedi's widgets..it's dual weather so you can use it via GPS or go old school and use your var locale code, just change it in the config.js file..
    All credit to schnedi for the code i used and thanks to yugo for the sick wall.
    the status bar word clock is written into the mod but if any of y'all dont want it but dont know how to get rid of it just let me know and i'll fix it up for you
    enjoy the rest of your weekend guys and girls, and Happy Birthday Canada for tomorrow

    Go into Scripts/Weather.js
    And make your line in yours look like the top line in my pic
    You need to remove the ../../../ from in front of /var

    I've got it figured out except now I've got a white box around the icon. Help?
    You need to open the icons here on the forums on a new tab and then save them. If you save them directly, they will save with the white background.

    And it's set to celsius but it indicates fahrenheit.
    open the Weather.js and make sure the $("#weathertext") section looks like this:

    Code:
    $("#weathertext").text(text);

    	      if (isCelsius == true){

    	       $("#highlowtemp").text("H: " + high + "\u00B0C" + " / " + "L: " + low + "\u00B0C");

    	       $("#temp").text(temp + "\u00B0C");

    	      }else{

    	       $("#highlowtemp").text("H: " + high + "\u00B0F" + " / " + "L: " + low + "\u00B0F");

    	       $("#temp").text(temp + "\u00B0F");
    if it does you can try to change the "\u00BoF" to "\u00B0C"

    CORRECTION: DID NOT SEE DURBEN POST!!! SORRY

    Cheers for the heads up.

    I've already changed both scripts you mentioned still have the issue.
    Swapping date & month leaves me with
    Code:
    Sun, 017/
    & this is how it looks in GPS
    Code:
    (<div id="weekday"> <span id="date"> <span id="month">)
    ?

    Find the lines in my pic below and change date to month and month to date twice in each

    Just in case it wasn't clear you have to change "date" and this_date to "month" and this_month and vice versa

    Found the error for the c and f

    Go to Weather.js in Scripts
    Towards the bottom find this

    function GetWeather(LocCode) {

    * * * * if (isCelsius == true){

    * * * *temp = ' '

    * * * *}

    * * * *else

    * * * *{

    * * * *temp = ' '

    * * * *}

    Change to this by adding the c and f
    This will enable the config.js to work properly again

    Thanks, kaikai.

    What do you guys think? Digits were too dark so I lightened them up a bit.

    Widget is originally from a paid theme, so I cannot share it. I don't see people using HTC widgets much anymore, but I still like them.

    [QUOTE=kaikai312;6596662]
    I am trying to mod an HTC clock/weather widget. Is there a large icon frame that would work for this?

    Above is the pic for the digits. I have the icon PSDs that came with the theme, but they are too small and will look pixelated.

    Creators, feel free to make one.

    Here is the widget on SB.

    try this... I don't have this widget so don't know if it would fitAttachment 595819

    Did as you suggested now it looks like this
    Code:
    Sun, 2/06
    & the code looks like this
    Code:
    document.getElementById("weekday").firstChild.nodeValue = this_weekday_name_array[this_weekday] + ". " //concat long date string

    document.getElementById("month").firstChild.nodeValue = "" + this_date_name_array[this_month] //concat long date string

    document.getElementById("date").firstChild.nodeValue = this_month_name_array[this_date] + "/" //concat long date string
    I guess I'm missing something lol

    Hi, thank you for helping out...

    i did what you posted..

    this is how my Scripts/Weather.js looks

    jQuery.get("/var/mobile/Documents/myLocation.txt", function(appdata) {

    var myvar = appdata;

    var substr = appdata.split('\n');

    var templatitude=(substr[0]).split('=');

    var templongitude=(substr[1]).split('=');

    var latitude = $.trim(templatitude[1]);

    var longitude = $.trim(templongitude[1]);

    var Yahooappid =""

    after respring...still no weather widget.

    Go into Scripts/Weather.js

    Here's the new springboard widget
    Like the others, it requires WeatherIcon and Wallpaper JPEGifier both found in Cydia for free It uses the Native Weather widget by Subywrex & Dacal, etc.
    There is a Wall_Static.css in the Resources/Css/Main folder to change it so it uses just your wallpaper (set in settings - wallpaper to work properly) if you would like it to not display the weather images.
    boss SB Native Weather Larke Animated
    Larke love the widget it's very sweet nice work.

    OK got the forecast looking right..

    Code:
    if (isCelsius == true){

    	varUnit = 'c'

    	}

    	else

    	{

    	varUnit = 'f'
    changed around the c & f in the weather.js in forecast/private.

    Just need to sort out the date format now

    EDIT:

    OK all looking fine now thanks to The_Durben - just changed the below back (scripts/datetime.js) after altering the code above

    Code:
    document.getElementById("date").firstChild.nodeValue = "" + this_date_name_array[this_date] + "/" //concat long date string

    document.getElementById("month").firstChild.nodeValue = this_month_name_array[this_month] //concat long date string
