Hello. My sister showed me that on her jailbroken iPad, her music is acting really weird. Some of her songs, when selected, don't play. And instead, play a different random song from her music. I connected the iPad to my computer to see if the same thing happens when I play her music through iTunes on my computer. But the weird thing is that the songs that are messing up, aren't appearing in iTunes at all. They seem to have been deleted. But she told me she never deleted anything =\

I have tried respringing and rebooting, but I don't want to have to restore it. I'm wondering if there's any other way or if anyone has had the same problem and can help us with this.

I had this same problem on my iPhone, I just deleted the songs from the music app by swiping across the title and tapping delete...then I went into the iTunes app and downloaded the songs that I deleted, you just go to the purchased section and tap the song...then it'll start downloading it.

Cool thanks. Thought that would work. Just wondering what causes it in case it happens again. Anyone got any ideas?

Not sure, did they ever work at all? Sometimes the download gets interrupted or corrupt and still shows up but doesn't play.

I'm pretty sure they did, but I'm not sure.

Ah well hard to tell. Maybe deleting and redownloading as someone else suggested will permanently resolve the problem. If the problem returns, then it is something else. Any particular jb tweak or app installed that relates to the music function?

I really don't know. I really need to get my sister to let me look at her iPad for more than 5 minutes...
