Hello. I am trying to add sonic and tails character images to my sms bubbles. But when I get a text message that is a elongated the picture gets stretched out. Sms bubbles with picture images-photo.png Does anyone know why it gets stretched out and how I can add those images without them stretching out like that? Some help would be appreciated!!

I think u will struggle to beat the iOS with this idea. It slices the image bubble both vertically and horizontally which is relative for the text that needs to be displayed within them.

Well that is the iOS code making the SMS bubble to get sliced and diced so to speak. You would almost have to write a JB Tweak to override it in a sense. I don't write code. Sometimes you are limited on how you can theme within the iOS. You could try to make the sonic image smaller and place him before the image gets sliced or below. That will still show him without being stretched just smaller tho.

It's pretty easy, just add sonic before where the image starts to get sliced. As long as he is under where it starts to get sliced he will still show as normal and not stretched. Bit of trial and error but see how u go!

Import that screenshot into photoshop or gimp and then bring in the original SMS bubble that is not sliced. Line it up with the bottom of the stretched chat bubble. Then move your sonic image into suit and align accordingly. Once sorted hide the stretched layer, merge down the two other layers and then Select the area of the sonic image and smaller chat bubble, copy and paste to a new file. If its done it correctly sonic should not stretch when the chat bubble stretches. See how u go
