hey guys. So I was wanting to re-restore my iPad 3 from 5.1.1 to 5.1.1 with blobs. I can't find a tutorial anywhere, and would like some help. I'm a little confused as the dev team have said they will release the new software soon, but idownloadblog says its already released. If anyone could help me with this it'd be great

You'll need to remove it all manually. That's what I had to do w/ my ip4S I just sold.
-If all your contacts are saved in iCloud, you can delete that acct from your iPad and it'll erase those.
    -Delete all mail accts
    -Apple IDs
    -Apps (except for jailbreak apps)
    -Photos
    -Music
    -Twitter accts
    -Facebook accts
    -Clear Safari History & Bookmarks
    -YouTube accts

If you have iFile (or a SSH program):
    -Go to var/mobile/Library/AddressBook
-Delete EVERYTHING in the AddressBook folder

That should clean it up & whenever they sync the iPad to their computer it'll clear all the media stuff too

I think this is what you looking for.

EDIT: Mmmmm, redsn0w 0.9.14b2 is not yet compatible with new iPad so even with blobs this restore is not possible at this time.... unless, of course, I am missing something...

Thazsar, I thought about that, but I'm worried that there might still be personal info saved somewhere within the iPad. The average person probably wouldn't find it, but I'd hate for someone to do so if they did.

Anyone know if it's possible to just remove the jailbreak without restoring? I thought I recall when the original absinthe jailbreak came out it removed jailbreak if you ran it again. What about removing rocky raccoon 5.1.1 untether? Perhaps something to put the iPad back in an unjaikbroken state without restoring, then maybe we could use iPads erase all content and settings feature in settings? :-/

    Sorry for the late reply...
No, there isn't a way to unjailbreak w/ out a restore. The closest you'll come is uninstalling Cydia but the new owner could just rejailbreak and find whatever info he/she wants.

Take the steps I provided and you should be good! Taking it a a step further:
    -Open iFile
    -Go to /Applications
-Delete ALL Cydia-related FOLDERS (except Cydia & iFile)
    -Go to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries
-Delete ALL Cydia-related .dylibs from here
    -Go to /var/mobile/Library
    -Delete ALL Cydia-related FOLDERS
    -Go to /var/mobile/Media
    -Delete ALL Cydia-related FOLDERS
    -Go to /var/mobile/Library/Preferences
-Delete ALL Cydia-related files from here

*these delete any user-settings you had associated w/ your tweaks

    Then:
-Uninstall PreferenceLoader and it 'should' erase all Cydia Tweaks.

Afterwards, if you really wanna wipe your info, there's a Cydia tweak called iWipe that'll clear all free space AFTER you erase all the stuff I told you about.

    -Open Cydia
    -Uninstall iWipe
    -Open iFile
    -Go to /Applications
    -Delete Cydia & iFile
    -Reboot

Ok for those curious, I did the re-restore last night. My iPad 3 is fully erased and restored I just had to re apply absinthe jail break. Can't remember what it was called but it's under the "extras" section. You just need to have existing shsh blobs for the matching firmware. I told redsn0w to pull mine from Cydia. What I found interesting was it didn't need to do the restore in iTunes. Worked all from redn0w. Nice
