No u don't need it, if u have beta u have it all now.
All except a proper change log. sigh

This is completely false and should be ignored!

The only tweak that's been a causal factor in loss of jailbreak is called "Atom" a Jelly Lock-like tweak for opening apps quickly.
oh shoot. I 'had heard' the same about battery doctor pro. Not sure. Never tried it. Im pretty minimal until I see a tweak that makes your icons bounce like osx.

actually there were at least 3 people from this thread that were using the "cleaning " feature of battery doctor pro, and they either cleaned the wrong ting, or exited out before it wass done, and they all resulted in needing to update. so it is not completely false, and for average users it should not be ignored

If you want icons that bounce, install Harlem Shake.

I think It was only in the pro version, could be mistaken……really not sure. I do not download a lot of apps on my devices. but I do remember reading the horror stories of people losing their JB tho. it is something I take very seriously

and let me say, if you know what your doing, when removing language packs, and launch daemons……then its cool. I remember jacking my iPhone 4 up back in the day when I was removing a bunch of launch daemons…wasn't really paying attention and deleted the wrong stuff, which resulted in a restore. of course I had blobs saved and all that yatta yah, but none of that is relevant today

I usually use icleaner to clean all the unnecessary files and I've never had a problem. *knocks on wood

I agree about Battery Doctor Pro. 3 people from this thread and one person from another thread have had issues. This does not mean everybody will experience the same issues and that its guaranteed to cause problems, but there is absolutely reason to be a little cautious about the tweak. Even if only one feature of the tweak is dangerous than that makes the tweak uh...dangerous.

Both should be ignored. atom works just fine. And it's not fair the the dev for people to scare others away from it. Bdp pro works fine too. I've had both simultaneously.

A warning disclaimer should come with any and all third party Cydia tweaks. With Cydia itself.

yea you know that is what we use bro……the pro version has the same clean daemons and such, and is why they removed the pro version and placed it on a private repo. because people were losing their jailbreak due to not reading or comprehension problems. and I have been known to do this as well…….so it is not uncommon. but yes, icleaner gets the job done

was sap with people not having their icleaner icon themed here, I have seen 2-3 screen shots and questions of an icleaner icon, but I know it is themed in the main package?

BatteryDrPro has a very minimal cleaning routine. Couldn't kill a jail break. Impossible. Maybe you're thinking of iCleanerPro which has some more sophisticated cleaning routines. People should be more careful about spreading around information they have no personal experience with. The only confirmed jailbreak loss was with Atom.

Getting caught in SafeMode doesn't require a restore either. Some have restored too quickly.
