Thanks. I just tested it. Yes it's possible. I probably only must make smaller iwidgets (not the widgets itself but the space around)

The users could then place icons on the shelf to the left and right of the iWidgets.
THAT's the spirit! Good thinking! Screen space is precious. No one knows that better than you!

Think i can center it with the CSS file then.
Yes.. you can center the iWidget within the confines of the widget.plist. But when you first 'add' the iWidget - it will snap to as upper and left as it can fit. The user would have to move it to the 'actual' center of the springboard. You'd have to 'trust the user'. Great theme creators like you, Blue, like to assure the user have the experience you intended. But with iWidgets that's harder to do - since they can be moved anywhere on the screen at any time by the user. Trust us though..

mmh. But users and me will never get all iWidgets into the right line and itīs not very comfortable if we must align each iWidget every time....

    What are the users thinking?

Make the widgets smaller (with the same icon/widget size) so you can put icons to the left and right of the iWidgets on the shelf but must try to align each widget manually each time ?

Currently the iWidgets are aligned out of the box all at the same position.

I understand your wanting them to be aligned from the jump. But you could've made them just PerPage documents like in Pages or exxOS. You didn't need to use iWidgets to have these Shine elements do what they're currently doing. The principal beauty of an iWidget as opposed to a PerPageHTML document, is that an iWidget can be moved. .. It can now also be tapped on to open applications. That alone makes IWidgets a better choice for Shine then PerPage documents. But we didn't know about iWidget Tapper before the release of Shine. That became a super added benefit!!

What you should really do is consult Durben on how to make areas underneath the widget.plist barrier touchable. Then your arrows could be touchable and you could leave the widget.plist the exact same size as it is now so it would center automatically upon launch. Just a thought.

Ramses - how much did you have to adjust to get it to work on the 4S?
For the Lockscreen 2, rename UniAW6_iph5.ccc in UniAW6_iph4.css

wow! Could it really be that easy? I thought it had something to do with adding a touch layer.

I say having them aligned out of the box is best. iwidgets are, at best, terribly difficult to get lined up properly and you can never do it to the pixel. (which is important to some of us OCD folk) Unfortunately with my shelf, I have had to cut the mirror shadow on the wallpaper.pngs and now am having to align them manually.

Don't think so lol I've done it once and was by accident hadn't removed weather info. The widget had no touch function at all

I like it as it is now with the widgets aligned Automatically, i think adding icons beside the widgets would make it look crowded and spoil the beauty of the design .

I could be wrong, but I don't think we could use multiples of what are now iwidgets on the same screen if using PerPage. Aren't PerPage objects completely static? If so each one would have to be coded and code changed for each widget.

Shine essentially is designed for 1 'graphic' per page top shelf. They are all static images - some with animation. But the iWidgets in Shine are being used just like PerPage elements. Blue has added lots of iWidgets with the same function as his former PerPage elements. Unless I'm missing something. And no complaints!! Love Shine!

But, in Blue's videos and in some of his comments he as shown that multiple 'graphics' (thank you..was struggling to define what i meant there) are capable per page on the top shelf. Would PerPage accommodate this?

Yes it would but per page is ancient now and unnecessary. There is a way with iwidgets to accomplish what some want

I agree no sense in manually aligning the iwidgets... simple solution = good modder make a nav mod

BTW using the weather, light, and all those iWidgets on each page how is your RAM and Battery life?
