Hi skinners, running iOS 6.x here on iPhone 4S. just followed a wallpaper theme guide by Jato_BZ, everything worked out with overwriting the var/stash/wallpaper files, was able to view them under iPhone settings/wallpaper.

The issue is that after I set my custom wallpaper to the home-screen, I respring my device head to the home screen... And bam.. Black background!

I know that a low res 320x480 wallpaper.png can be used through winter board, but It would be preferable to use a 640x960 that fits in the screen . I took a look at my winter board theme wallpaper.html and commented out everything to do with the background resulting in the same problem... Please help me out here!

This could be possibly be better asked & answered in the 6X guide are my thoughts.

Do you have wallpaper.jpegifer installed via Cydia is my thoughts. U need that with HTML screens etc.

Hi Jato! Just installed wallpaper jpegifier and applied the pointer in my HTML file, now I'm seeing it, but not at the right scale for my device. Any ideas?

Here is my line of code:

While we wait for a response, do you know any manual way of removing The time on the status bar since I have a widget on my SB?

I want to avoid installing tweaks as they take up resources.

Oow, I'm not sure on that either! Lol I've seen transparent fonts run on the Lockscreen but thru BytaFont I think. Sorry dude. Tweak would be the only way are my thoughts.

Had to give it a shot , so which tweak do you recommend to remove the status bar time?

*will look around, don't bother answering

Found CleanStatus , only problem was that it was also hiding the SB settings Ram info. Wish SBsettings had a 'hide time' toggle!

Are you able to get a stock wall paper to show using wallpaperjpegifier? Sometimes you need a respring for it to generate the file.

If you want an invisible clock without a tweak, try adding opacity: 0; to the time status inside your active info.plist file in WB.

Hi king, the convert-homebackground.jpeg is generated, I'm guessing that it is the one being shown on my last uploaded screen shot, but on a large scale and not resized to fit. I'm guessing it has something to do with what I mentioned to J regarding the wallpaper.html.

Your suggestion for making the transparency is awesome, but my intention is to actually remove it from the status bar to utilize the space for other icons.

This is the command that I use for jpegifier:

    <img src="/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard/Converted-HomeBackground.jpg" style="position:absolute; top:0px; left:0px; width:320px; height:568px; z-index:10;">

If you want to remove the time from the status bar to allow other Icons to be used in its place, then the only wat is with a tweak.

There are a few that will do it:

    No Clock
    Springtomize 2
    CleanStatus

Be careful of CleanStatus after I installed that & color clock I lost my JB! One of those two are the culprits IMO!
