Not a huge deal, but figured I'd report it. When using the increase contrast option I get a safe mode crash. Working perfectly without increase contrast enabled. Can send a crash log if you'd like. Launchpad issues here as well but I see you are already aware of that

Yep, a crash log and syslog will be really useful please!

I have many resprings now when taking pictures. I think I've isolated it to Convergence.. But can't be 100% sure yet. Anyone else get a respring the moment you take a picture?

    IPh6/8.1
I have LockHTML and also tons of resprings when taking a photo. So maybe it's something else

For years now I have always had problems with taking photos from the lockscreen being jailbroken, doesn't happen with every photo but after a crash and respring it would work for awhile and then crash again taking a pic, i thought I was alone in this since I never read anybody having this problem.

I found that the new update of winterboard was causing backupd to crash for me. I couldn't make a new iCloud back up it just kept crashing.
I downgraded winterboard to the version before the newest one and the crashing stopped. Made a new iCloud back up and then updated winterboard to the newest version and so far nearly 24 hours I've had zero backupd crashes.

Backupd is to do with iCloud back up.

    Go to sauriks website
    Index of /debs/
Find the Deb for the one before last of winterboard im sure it ends in a 16, download it, install with Ifile .. It will automatically downgrade.

how can we know if we have the iCloud backup problem resulting from the new winterboard! I have seen a few more resprings of late where a few weeks ago I had no respring's of any kind on my iPhone 6 even running high animation on LS and SB. If WB is my problem how would I know for sure?

I can't answer that for sure..
The only thing I know is I never had respring issues, I did when running uniaw7 on lock screen but however how much I like it I can live without that.
For me on my 6+ I can guarantee winterboard was causing backupd to crash.
Downgrading then backing up iCloud then upgrading winterboard afterward has eliminated backupd crashing for me. Well at least for the last 24 hours.
That's not to say it won't come back but doing those steps has stopped it for me so far.
Try for yourself because it won't harm anything else on your device to try if you are having the backupd crashes. can't say it will stop respring because I think that's a completely different issue and well documented on this forum.

I still get those crashes if I follow what he did. Oh well. Not a big deal to me.
Thanks a lot to Sk37cH, DjeTouch, Alfroggy, Maxone, Jusephe and Meth. My phone would be boring without them.
