    Woohoo! one person lmao.

    Instructions and features

To save a layout press the menu button, go to settings. Inside settings you will see 12 buttons. 5 of these will say.

    Save 1
    Save 2
    Save 3
    Save 4
    Save 5

These are your save buttons. If you press one it will ask for a name. Enter a "short" name to describe your lock and it sets it. To apply this lock press the apply button next to the save button you chose.

You can update locks just by pressing the same save button over again. For example if you created a lock, you can add another element then save as the same name. You can test this by saving a layout. then moving items all around, then press apply. Magically all items will be placed back into there position.

    What does it save.
    Which wallpaper is selected
    Which elements are selected
Where the toggle is set in the menu
Where the item is placed top/left
    What size the element is
What rotation the element is at

It does this for WeatherIcon, temp, humidity, city, desc, date, low, high, time, time text, update time, unlock button, messages, and emails.

It also saves which weather icon is chosen. It does save the color, and the shadow that is applied to all elements.

    What it does not save
    App Icons
    Fonts
    Widget position
    GroovyLock

These will come in the future.

I have tried testing all elements described above, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is one that don't save. Please test and let me know of any issues. If you see something I have failed to mention please mention it. I will package the deb soon and upload to the repo. This save is over 1000 lines of code, and I probably removed upwards of 500 lines reconfiguring everything to use localStorage. So you should see no performance difference. Its been a lot of work, but I am glad to bring you saved layouts

When I hit apply, it makes it a blank screen with a weather wall. When I try to use something I had saved, like time, description, etc, nothing happens. No more lock screen for me

Did you set your settings in the settings app? Anyone else with this problem?

Yes of course. just to test, I applied "save 2" which was blank because I didn't see it, and it worked. However, I'm trying to set the forecast widget and it's working; except for the fact that there's a rectangular outline where the icons are supposed to be.

Which icon set? What do you mean save 2 was blank?

Just tried all icons and all work with 5 day forecast. What location code are you using?

18302, same I've been using since day 1 bro. I saved my current them in the 1st slot. I didn't save any other lay outs, so I hit "apply" for the "save 2 spot" for a blank layout. I figured out that changing the icon and then switching back fixed the weather forecast issue

You do not need to press apply on something you don't have saved. Once you save it you can move anything around create an entire new lock because you have already saved it. repeat the process. review my post above please, hopefully explains it better.

I tried going back to my first save and the weather icon white set is just a rectangle. I tried removing it and adding it back, but it's still just rectangle.

What phones do you both have?

The icons are on my server, I have no issue at all pulling them where they show on the phone fine. The update before 0.5 made this conversion. Did you not update to 0.4? I'm having trouble understanding these issues, because mine is fine. So more info is needed.

    @rbern what is blank?

@dwizurd did you respring at all? Locked/unlocked? Do you have internet? What Icon should it be cloudy, rain etc? What location do you have added so I can test

@rbern your city is DOLWD is this correct? Did you set the weather woeid switch to on?

Well even if you didn't turn it on it would still show East Stroudsbug. I don't understand what is blank

@dwizurd when you go to the icon select menu are there squares there too?

Both of you may need to reset the lockscreen completely. By going to settings/reset. I have moved a lot from cookies, but there still is cookies stored. These need wiped out with reset. (It wont reset layouts you have saved) May fix some problems, although I don't think it really should effect it.

Well, that explains my frustrations this morning (never apply updates at 4:30AM and then start playing with the feature set...at least, not without reading this forum, first LOL).

Glad to see it's coming along.

One thing with which I'm having issues is that when I "Apply" the 1st saved layout, it pulls in the wallpaper that I chose from my camera roll, but when I apply the 2nd saved layout, it reverts to a weather wall instead of the wallpaper that I chose, from my camera roll, for that layout.

Also noticing that I can't press the "Choose Files" button unless my layout is unlocked...I have to press it/the screen three times to unlock the layout and then I can press the "Choose Files" button.

I've recorded my screen so that you can see what I'm experiencing.
