Hey gang.. Just to bring an update.. Throughout the last several months even before we had the Electra Jailbreak I've been working on this in UniAW7.1_WW3 that needed updating for the new screen size with iPhone X.. I'm almost finished. The iPhone X brought us a new aspect ratio (last time this happened was iPhone 5).. They've moved from 16:9 aspect ratio to 19.5:9. So the phone is taller than 6/6Plus, 7/7Plus, etc.. But it's width is identical (code wise) to iPhones 6/7/8. So The new dimensions for overlays in our widgets has to eventually display at 375x812. That means your retina walls and overlays need to be recropped to 1125x2436 for 3X.

Since so many of our widgets are built upon U7 - I found the best and easiest way to keep as much of our data positioning and round overlay elements to stay in tact was to build a new auto scaling code line that keeps dimension 375x667 (iPhone 6/7/8) and then simple sets the #background to 812pixels. This slightly stretches the weather walls and timed walls and day night walls downward to fill out the iPhone10 screen.. Only Ian himself would notice this mild stretch.. There is no weirdness at all to my eye..

If your widget is built upon this base and you've added other overlays.. just create new overlays for X and place them in Images/Classic.. and name the normal one for 6/7/8 andPlus versions home.png..Then place one build with more 'bottom' for iPhX in the same folder and name it homeX.png. Then my modified code will auto detect the right wall for iPhoneX if that's what someone is using.. I'll have the link in my signature updated shortly to get this new version out.

If you have additional overlays.. they will need to be added too if they take up whole screen.. and then have their own code line added to use the X image when an X is being used.. Feel free to ask any clarifying questions about your widget.

    Thanks NewD.

Would we ask those questions here or in a DM directly to you?

I really don't do DM's, Thomas. Too many things would benefit all modders.. So easier to put it all here.

    Not a problem, NewD.

One of the first things I would like to know about is with AnemoneHTML widgets and what to look for in the main.js Javascript to make them work. I have several. Is there a particular code that they should all have to make them work?

    NewD, how you doing?

Is there a tutorial somewhere to show how to create your own UniAW7 widgets/mods. I have Atom text editor and Photoshop. I just need to know where to start from there
