I haven't posted here in a long time, but I have a question. I don't know where else to ask. I just bought an iPod 5th gen on ebay and it was advertised as iCloud locked. I looked up on google to see if it could be useable, and the short answer was yes, so I bought it. Now I find out that it really can't, but didn't know if you guys knew of any way to bypass and set this iPod up as new. Thanks in advance, and remove this thread if it's inappropriate.

Try returning it to seller. No way to get around the lock.

Yes, the only firmware that ever had a complete bypass for iCloud activation lock was iOS 11.1 (and only in certain cases). But the 5th gen iPod Touch never received iOS 10 or later.
