I was scrolling through ebay listings looking for smashed screen 3g's, and this listing nearly made me spit my coffee everywhere!

    Apple iPhone 3g 16gb SPARES/REPAIR on eBay (end time 13-Aug-09 14:28:40 BST)

If ever there was a good example of why you should read tear down instructions before trying DIY tech repair this is it, the guy has plainly just tried to seperate the iPhone by forcing something between the chrome bezel and the plastic case and using brute force to get the two apart, ripping connections and no doubt causing untold damage to the motherboard.

He needs to sell that for 30.00 because that's all its worth at this point...You might get lucky if you can salvage the screen and LCD and maybe the bottom antenna assembly but everything else is probably DOA
