Ok, so in my spare time i fix other people iphones, usally no more than the screen. Well a guy brings me in a phone that has been obliterated, the ringer switch, the housing, the screen alot of stuff, anyways, i bought the new stuff and when it finally got here(spend the extra two bucks and buy domestic hong kong sux) i go to put the ringer switch on and i realize the silver peice that holds the physical button and the oustside one on is broken in half and i need to know what its called and where to get it

I know the exact piece you are talking about! Unfortunately I have never been able to locate a seller of this piece. The only way I have been able to get a hold of them is to pull them from other broken iPhones.

It is, but it is so funny how they name that part lol. I have always called it the Vibrate switch assembly.
