I dropped my iphone from my pocket and now i have a big problem. Non of the buttons apart from the home button, so Power Button, silent button or the volume buttons work in any way or form. When you push them nothing happens.

The home button is v hard to press as well you do have to push it down very hard to get it to work. But it looks like where i have dropped it the the casing, near the home button where u charge it has come apart a little bit from the silver strip.

I have taking the phone apart but the casing will still not fit flush and still non of the buttons or speaker working.

Does anyone know of maybe a lead that has come loose or does it really sound like its dead?

    Any help will be appreciated.

If the volume buttons, mute and power button dont work, along with the headphone jack...then you damaged the headphone jack assembly and would need to replace it.

Or, there always a possibility you damaged the mainboard.

The headphone jack works fine tho :s

Any other suggestions? Or do you think it could be the motherboard

Also just to say the speaker stopped working at the same time of when all the other button stopped working. Is it likley they are connected

No they arent connected, except that when the headphones are being used, it cuts the speaker off.

So, like I said before....the headphone jack assembly needs to be replaced.

Ive been repairing iphones for nearly 3 years.
