Interesting, and kinda cheap. Hell i'd buy one for $30 just for a change of pace every now and then, screw on a blue one and rock a blue iPhone for a day and then just put the OEM back on. I dig it.

Yea i was thinking about ordering one just to give it a review and let everyone know whether they'll even close down properly. But i dont really have the time. If anyone does decide to do this they should throw us a reply and let us know what the quality is like.

Ready easy. Unscrew the two screws next to the USB dock connector. Push the back upward gentility about may 1/4 of a inch, you'll know when. That's it. Good luck.

Got mine. Looks nice, but very different. The LED Diffuser appears to be just a sheet of plastic. The Screw mounts are plastic compared to the metal ones on the original. These 3rd party housings interest me in removing the cheap plastic and buying higher quality (for example) white glass and bypassing the REALLY expensive full white glass housings that go on ebay for 100+ dollars.
Anyways. Pics. (Goinng to take some better ones with my DSLR later today, it isn't charged ATM.

It's a good idea to use just invade you drop it. Then if you need to take it in for warranty, your still have the OEM housing in perfect condition.

    nice

    so it fits properly?
and its only 2 screws away to a different housing?

sounds good to me, but does the quality of it feels cheap or fragile?
    thanks

I ordered a red one from a Chinese seller of eBay. I will report back as well. They don't seem to look too cheap. I may also get a white glass one as well
