lol i put "" on new since they weren't technically new. even though i replaced half the parts with new ones. still not new since I've opened the box, violated warranty and using a old middle peice(mobo, processor, camera). LOL!

lol you are just jealous. im selling them to friend in dubai. lol and what description? im not selling these on an online store, or here.

and of course they are not new idiot and customers know that. no iphone4's are sold white, so obviously they were opened up. Box is not factory sealed. is that still new? I dont sell them to customers just 1 person who knows what im doing. dont care what he does or says to them after they leave my hands.

and yes iphones32gb sell for about 820$ on ebay a full white kit costs about 180$. that = 1000$.
2months ago i sold iphones in canada for about 950$ cash
and phones in dubai are even more expensive.

    I laughed heartily.

seriously, some people need to get it through their heads that some rules are meant to be broken. ie: Apples closed mindset with their products.

I am probably going to start repairing phones for some extra cash here and there, hopefully soon.

Not making false claims (that products are new when they're not) is one of the rules I prefer to keep.

    Good luck!
If you want to try selling them for $1000 or $2000 or whatever, no problem. Just don't claim that they're new when they're hacked up refurbs.

i am friends still with most of the people i worked with at att so they see iphones broken all the time and they drop my name and number. I would make business cards and take them to an Att store and they should have no problem passing them out.

    FRAUD.

Illegal, and you should be prosecuted and/or jailed. (no jailbreak 4 u)
Unless you describe them as just like "new" or do indicate in some fashion that they aren't exactly new.

If you sell these refurb units, with a description as "new" without qualifying they are not new, that would be false advertising.
You're breaking Canadian law. Very likely the local laws in those overseas countries you're marketing to.

If your description has both "refurbished" and unqualified "new" then you're probably not breaking the law.

I do this on the side. It's enough to have play money and what not. Just riding the wave in. Luckily what I do is pretty uncommon to other shops, and I can work with you all.

I fix phones, (not just iPhones) mainly as a hobby/second job. Earns me some extra cash on the side and keeps me busy.

So where would be a good place to send in my 3G with charging issues an the screen at the top near the ear peice will not sit in all the way due to me trying to fix the broken screen on my 2nd iPhone? I am currently in Afghanistan and would have to have my phone sent back to an APO by mid March because I leave in April back to Germany.

    Hey Guido,
Its sounds like you maybe have a bad battery and are in need of a new touch panel/screen. You can send it to Directfix.com for a replacement battery and screen. Just go to the web addy and click on repairs and you can follow the instructions there to send it in. They will ship to APOs so that is no problem.

Is changing the back housing simpler the 2nd time around?
I decided to face my fears and open up another one.. Waiting for mute button to arrive ... Btw before I glue the bezel.. What parts other than the volume button need to be placed in?

The potential is a lot higher than that... I just go to school so it slows me down. I've already made $2500 this month alone with 11 credit hrs of college.
