Well I bought what I thought was an original iPhone 4 online and the guy who sold it to me said i needed to restore it through iTunes
when I got home and plugged it in it showed a Black iPhone instead so I know its been converted. The bad part is that now im getting an "Error 1" which I've been told is a hardware issue and also the bottom right part of the screen is jutting out more than normal. What could be the problem? Do I just need someone to take the screen off and install it the proper way? or something more?

Any advise or comments are greatly appreciated...

Hmm the screen won't give an error like that during a restore. It's probably something more

Make sure your phone is in DFU because that should bypass error 1 or -1

its in DFU mode, do you think it would be a hardware or a software issue?

It's hardware if it's error 1 but it won't be the screen it wil most likely be the dock connector or the actual logic board

can you give me an estimate as to how much it would be to fix either of those problems?
Also is this something I can do easily by watching a video if I purchased the part myself?

there are plenty of guides out there to get the phone apart. My guess would be a loose connector or pinched/cut ribbon cable somewhere within the phone if it's giving you a hardware error.
