My headphone jack was not working so I replaced the part.
It still is not working. The volume and mute button are working

Make sure your connection is nice and tight. Also make sure that there is nothing in the headphone jack like lint or dust. Blowing in it with a can of compressed air usually helps. If none of that works then try to restore the phone from scratch. Do not restore from a backup. Now check if it works. If not then perhaps you got a bad part or perhaps the port is damaged.

I guess you have tried a different set of headphone. Maybe try reset all settings while some headphones are plugged in.
