Okay so I was doing a screen repair on a customers iphone 4 gsm. Replaced the screen, put it back together, tested the back camera worked fine. Tested the front and i got the dreaded closed and stuck shutter. Turned the iphone off for 20 minutes and the back camera will work but the front won't. Opened it up looked at the jumped and it was gone. I ran to radio shack and bought a circuit writer pen. Cleaned up the area where i was putting it, drew the connection, let it cure for 24 hours AND no luck, same thing happened. I just feel awful about this and I need to get it fixed. It just seems like a bit of bad luck. Any suggestions would be great. Wondering if I should get it soldered together or will that not work if the circuit writer didn't? Thank you for your replies in advance!

Okay I actually do have an extra one. If that doesn't work would you suggest I have someone solder it?

thats what I would suggest. I have never actually run into this issue but it doesn't seem like an easy solder job.
