Has anyone ever straitened a bent mid plate?

I ask some what out of curiosity also I just tried to do so and replaced a broken screen on my 4s. Its working but looks like it has pressure points showing on the screen so I will be replacing it but now Im wondering if anyone has had any luck straitening a mid plate without any issues

I've attempted straightening a mangled one. End result was pretty good, nothing wrong with the screen but it wouldn't sit absolutely flush no matter what I did.

    Thanks for the replies
I managed with a little bit of force to get zero gaps but the screen seems to have too much pressure from behind so I will be ordering a new mid plate and with the dark blue conversion kit I have on it I think a gold or black one would look quite nice. Have you had any issues with different colored mid plates?

No experience on the issue other than reading around here. All I've seen is be diligent about keeping track of all of your parts and screws you are transferring to the new plate. Additionally, I've read where there are miniscule drops in signal vs OEM mid-plates.........

Oh good I had heard of some issues with I think they were the anodized frames causing an issue with signal but a gold frame would just look awesome with a dark blue screen

    Thanks for the reply
