    Hello All,

I was recently changing the display on an AT&T iPhone 4 and noticed that when trying to use the camera the shutter remained frozen when attempting to snap a picture... So, I read on here that It could be a software issue... It was on 5.0.1 and upgraded to 6.0.1 and still same thing... Then saw that I might need a jumper between two contact points... tried this and nothing... What to do? Maybe my jumper was not good enough... I need help asap.. Never had this happen...

Hi, I'm having the same problem; my iphone 4 fell down from the 4th floor and I had to replace the middle frame; when I put the new one on (I should say 'when I put everything on the new one') I found out that the front camera was broken: the flex cable part was separated from the lens: I thought maybe it would work anyway but it din't; the camera app doesn't work (the shutter doesn't open) so I'm just waiting to buy a new camera
On my phone wifi doesn't work too and I suspect it somehow depends on the absence of the camera; does your wifi work?
