    I have a 1.1.1 with 3rd party apps & summerboard.

I want to install an app that is not listed in Installer.app.

I tried having Independence install it. I tried manually installing it. I can't get my app to install.

How can I manually install an app?

The app was created by the iPhone Apper website - it creates an application that simply launches a website.

safari has (or had) a PXL plugin I dont know if that will work in this situation but it helped me get the nesapp updates before istaller would get them.

via SSH, copy the app folder to the Applications directory on your phone, and then set the permissions of the files in that directory to be able to execute

I've done that. I SSH into the phone and place the App.app into the /Applications folder. I change all the permissions so it can execute (I have changing the permissions via Cyberduck - SFTP). I reboot the phone and nothing. It looks like Independence does the same thing.

I thought that maybe Summerboard has to be told there is a new Application.

    Any other thoughts???

You can also use iNdependence if you're in OS X to install the app.
