    Hello everyone,

Hence install.app on my iphone has been going crazy, and no one really could help me on that one, I removed it from my iphone in the Applications dir. How could I reinstall it manually without having to preform jailbreak?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kyle

That does not work for me, I did an SSH and uploaded the Installer folder back to /Aplications and restart my iphone but I will not start. I also made sure that the folder was chod 755 but still not working. What could be the problem??

Thanks dude, I just found the answer after some Googleing. I missed to chmod the file Installer to 755 and not only the Installer.app folder.

    There is a guide here:

I tried to resolve my "mian scritp exec error" using the following:

boy am I getting sick of typing this.

... but the wheel cmd gives this error:

    chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Installer.app
    chmod +s /Applications/Installer.app/Installer
    # chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Installer.app
    dyld: Library not loaded: libarmfp.dylib
    Referenced from: /usr/bin/chown
Reason: unsafe use of relative path libarmfp.dylib in /usr/bin/chown with setuid binary
    zsh: trace trap chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Installer.app
    # chmod +s /Applications/Installer.app/Installer
    dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/arm-apple-darwin/lib/libgcc_s.1.dylib
    Referenced from: /bin/chmod
Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:
    /usr/local/arm-apple-darwin/lib/libgcc_s.1.dylib: stat() failed with errno=13
zsh: trace trap chmod +s /Applications/Installer.app/Installer

Then I completely reinstalled the Installer.app (first manually using Fugu and Terminal, the permissed correctly set) then again using zibrees ziphone -P commande. But still getting the same errors.

In addition, now I cant even correctly run the Installer as I have the message when launching it "Insufficient Permissions. Installer was not installed correctly. It should be run as root:wheel. We will continue but please remember that it might not function correctly".

Do anyone know how to fix it withour jailbraiking again?
    Thanks.

Did this about 5 minutes ago. It works:

    chmod -R 777 "/Applications/Installer.app"
    chmod a+srx "/Applications/Installer.app/Installer"

    Hooray!
