Google has issued an update to the popular Google Chrome Web browser for iOS bringing the application to version 27.

With the update, Google has not only improved the application’s stability, but they have also made major improvements to the voice search feature. The improved voice search is much like what he have in the Google Search application; it allows us to query something, get results spoken back to you, and then allows you to browse through your search results. The voice recognition is both lightning fast and accurate.

Google also improved the speed of reloading Web pages. Google claims that reloading Web pages will be faster even when the network you are on is slow, or even when you are offline. Because the feature works offline, Chrome will be caching the Web pages you visit so you can easily re-load them whether the network is available or not.

Existing users of Google Chrome for iOS can download the update from the Updates tab of the App Store. Alternatively, users can download Google Chrome for iOS for free via this App Store link.

Keep it coming, Chrome! Hopefully Apple opens up an API in iOS 7 to set default applications...like Default Maps, Default Browser and Default Weather (with widgets!), Default Mail, and so forth.

I love the fact that their updates hardly ever break the jailbreak tweaks to this app
