    Once again some people on forums made crazy allegations about an Apple product and guess what, those turned out to be true also! The iPhone 3GS is, apparently, able to play 1080p videos using nothing more than the default video player!

    What is the problem though? It is too buggy. As shown in the video below if you switch to a video with lower a bitrate and then back to a 1080p video the audio driver crashes causing no sound to be played at all. The only way to fix this is to restart the phone. The HD playback seems to be working well for the most part, however. Does this mean we will see HD support in 3.1? We can only hope!

    Kinda no point that the 3GS can play 1080p. That's 1920 x 1080 on a screen resolution of 480 x 320. Not to mention that it's probably four times the file size.
