    Ok, riddle me this...

Roughly, for basic iphone use on ATT, your paying around $100-$150 a month for data/phone/txt, correct?

Vonage is now on the iphone & ipod touch, and I would assume would work on the iPad. What's to keep me from ditching my iPhone on ebay for a couple hundred (I noticed jailbroken ihpnes are actually going for more, weird...) getting the iPad with 3G/WiFi, installing Vonage on the iPad, getting the $15 (or was it $25?) a month data package (I don't talk that much), using vonage ($25 a mnoth) and saving about a Benjamin a month on service? Text, schmext, I almost never use it now.

Am I missing something here? Flaws in the plan? Bluetooth problem maybe? The earbuds will still have a microphone, right?

    Thanks for the feedback.

Not sure about Vonage. Vonage requires wifi and or some sort of 3g(whick is covered by Att&t or T-mobile) They aren't a stand alone system. It would be better to download skype. Why pay 25 to Att&t or whoever and then another 25 to vonage. Not sure about that being worth the price. LOL! If you want a phone with really large screen, look at HTC advantage.

not to mention that would be a really big phone to carry around....that theory would work on the iphone and use 3g unrestrictor if it needed wifi.
