    well looks like i have been restoring my phone for no reason, looks like the verizon iphone dont have the option to turn 3g on and off in the general settings.

    i searched on google images for verizon iphone network settings, and saw that it only says, cell data, data roaming, hotspot, vpn and wifi

    Maybe because with CDMA "3g" is the only option.

    Lol moon Verizon doesn't only have 3G. It has a much slower speed if 3G isn't available, there's a dead spot in my apartment that does that lol.

    Anyway I though I already told you OP, mine has the toggle.

    You sure the toggle isn't there when you set up as new or are you still trying to restore from back up after?

    I dont' think that 4.2.6 has the 3g toggle option in settings, I have a ViPhone and I dont have it either. Not much of a problem since I always get 4 or more bars of 3g.
