Is there any winterboard themes made specifically for the iPad? Every iPhone theme I use on this huge screen looks like crap because they are all pixelized!

    8GB iPod Touch 1G: 1.1.1 > 1.1.2 > 1.2 > 2.0 > 2.0.1 > 2.1 > 2.2 > 2.2.1 > 3.0 > 3.0.1 GM RedSn0wed
    16GB iPhone 3G > Sold $375 > iPhone 4: 4.2.8 > 5.0
    32GB iPad: 3.2 > 3.2.1 > Traded For MacBook > Traded + $500 For MacBook Pro

I've seen about 3 or 4 on Cydia , not real complex but ok. Only problem I've had was setting the wallpaper to user selected it's either blown up or on half the page.

Hallo guys, so i have one, but unfortunatly this is not as easy.

    First:
    1. Not every cydia tweek we need is working
    2. We must learn the new screen sizes
    3. The ipad is used in portrait and landscape, so we canīt work with background graphics because they are missalligned when rotating the screen.
    4. Same Problem with the html programmed widgets (like a large clock or weather) they donīt rotate with

At the moment the only thing that is possible is a simple theme with another wallpaper, other icons and another dock

This is very lets say "oldscool" like starting again at 2007

Yep, bluemetal is correct...themeing on the iPad is like starting from scratch! The GUI is not 100% themeable yet, maybe 20% or less -

Also, I have found that custom icons don't look as good on the iPad as they do on the iPhone, even though they look good on my computer and in photoshop..I think that has to do with winterboard not yet being optimized for the iPad, but then I could be wrong.

The files that auto-create icons hasn't yet been discovered along with so many other different UI image sizes and file locations! but I guess that's what makes themeing it a challenge, and now we get to learn how to theme all over again -

Btw, "Glass Orb iPad" will be available soon via Rock and Cydia

    MetroColor for iPad
    IQBrushed for iPad
    Black&White for iPad
    Random for iPad
    Just search "iPad" in Cydia

Many thanks to BlueMetal, toyvan and BucketsTouch for your explanations and efforts.
3G vs 3G'S' is like comparing a standard BMW to an 'M-Tech' version of the same car. They pretty much look identical, but it's whole 'nother beast beneath the shell.
The 'S' is for 'Sheer' Power.

I would love to have the Nvidia theme icons, but with black background and transparent dock.

    Anyone know how?

    Thanks

Yeah you're definitely right about how the icons look worse. I've made a few themes that look great on the iPhone but now that they're on my iPad, they are nowhere near as good. Hopefully they get that worked out soon.

Also, if anyone happens to find a good iMac theme for the iPad (something similar to LeopardUI for the iPhone) please post! I'd love to have the whole ui looking like that

    8GB iPod Touch 1G: 1.1.1 > 1.1.2 > 1.2 > 2.0 > 2.0.1 > 2.1 > 2.2 > 2.2.1 > 3.0 > 3.0.1 GM RedSn0wed

I'm sure there's a lot more people that would like to make their iPad look like a "MacBook touch" I've come close to it by combining a few themes, but as already mentioned, the icons look a bit blurred and it just doesn't look so great

    8GB iPod Touch 1G: 1.1.1 > 1.1.2 > 1.2 > 2.0 > 2.0.1 > 2.1 > 2.2 > 2.2.1 > 3.0 > 3.0.1 GM RedSn0wed
