Always candid and never pulling punches, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is at it again.

According to a string of new reports, Woz simply wasn't wowed by Apple's announcement Tuesday. In particular, the iPad Air didn't make the "other Steve" get up and cheer.

"I am constantly following the gadget world but I was on a plane and missed all of the keynote. When I finally took a look at the devices, the iPads didn't hit my needs," Woz said in a new interview.

So what was missing that would have otherwise excited Woz? Lots and lots of storage.

"I don't have broadband at home, and you can't get great broadband connections in hotels, so I carry all my personal media in the iPad. So I was hoping Apple has a 256GB iPad [...] so I could put every episode of Big Bang Theory on my iPad. So I emailed my wife and said 'Nope, I don't want one of those'"

A statement of "I don't want one of those" from the co-founder of Apple is probably not something the company wants to hear today. But nothing can be done about a man who loves to speak his mind whenever invited to do so.

Wow, I hope the sarcasm there was about more than needing to carry around every single episode of a television series.

I'm also pretty sure he wasn't serious about not having a broadband connection at home.

haha..he was being funny! At the same time, I have not been wowed in some time either. The day they put OS X on the iPad is the day the world changes again..just like it did in 2007. Until then, the incremental stuff won't cut it. The grumblings will continue until we get that BIG BANG>><<

Especially when you consider LTE wireless is getting upwards of 20 Mbps, when you get the service coverage. I have no idea where he lives...

Feel like Woz dislikes Tim Cook lol, although I agree that the iPad Air isn't anything we weren't expecting.

Coming from the man who created the product that brought the PC revolution but if he had his way would have never seen the light of day.

Why is this apple news again? Are we still in the 1980's where woz is relevant?

An iwatch will have everyone wow'ed. I found Apple have finally done something decent this year with the two iPhones and upgrading all their tablet ranges tbh. Don't know what else they can possibly do besides larger storage.

I don't think any kind of smartwatch could ever wow me, unless it brings some completely new kind of technology to the table. The iPhone 5c is nothing more than Apple saying they can't afford the aluminum to make the iPhone 5 for $100 less this year.

Apple's not big on storage. They want you to rely on their cloud and iTunes.

Case in point: The ridiculous amount of computing power in the new black, tubular Mac "workstations" that come with two (TWO!) graphics cards, 16gb of RAM, and a teeny, tiny 256gb SSD.

That gave me a good laugh.

Pity the ipad does not support micro sd cards...
Function over form? That's not Apple's way.

+1, although that Nike Fuelband/iOS 7 Concept was cool!
