From the Skype application for iPad, whenever you're messaging someone, you have the option to send emoticons to help express your feelings with each of your messages. By default, the application gives you four pages of emoticons to pick from.

If you want to unlock some of the hidden emoticons from the Skype for iPad application, then check out a new free jailbreak tweak called Skype Emoticon Unlocker by iOS developer TheChief.

With this tweak installed, you will have six pages of emoticons to pick from, meaning you'll have even more faces and emoticons to pick from in order to get your feelings across to the person that you're messaging.

It's worth noting that the tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can enable or disable the tweak on demand a respring button is included for you since you'll need to respring to save your settings:

The tweak currently only works with the iPad version of Skype, but it is expected to add support for the iPhone and iPod touch version of Skype in a future update.

If you want to give Skype Emoticon Unlocker a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. Skype for iPad is required to make this tweak work to its fullest potential, so you may want to download it for free from this App Store link if you don't already have it.
