Almost Human, the developers behind the first-person PC dungeon crawler, Legend of Grimrock, recently announced that their game will be making its way to the iOS platform. iOS development for the game was first mentioned in a tweet back in 2012 and nothing had been mentioned since, until now. The company mentioned that a friend of the studio, Juha Pinola, stepped up to the plate and worked on a port. According to the developers:

The game isn’t just a direct port from the PC version of Legend of Grimrock. We have always felt that the game wouldn't work on touch screens straight out of the box but needed a few custom mechanics to get the benefits of the touch interface.
The company recently released an image showing their game, Legend of Grimrock, running on an iPad. Unfortunately, we weren’t given an exact release date, instead we were told that the game would be release “when it’s done.”

For those of you who didn’t know, Legend of Grimrock plays a lot like the Atari ST classic Dungeon Master game. Users can control a party of four adventurers as one unit and move in real time across a 3D grid-based dungeon. You’ll end up coming across puzzles to solve, deadly traps to avoid and as one might expect, several enemies to fight.

Those of you looking for more information on the game can find it on the official website.

That is the dumbest teaser video I've ever seen. Looks like Myst 3 to me. Based on that I wouldn't be interested. I do like the static screen shot above. That looks a lot more promising.
