WorldWeatherOnline needs the latitude and longitude, it does not matter where you get them from, myLocation.txt or geolocation javascript.
According to the WorldWeatherOnline website you can pass it the following to get weather info:

    • US Zipcode
    • UK Postcode
    • Canada Postalcode
    • IP address
    • Latitude/Longitude (decimal degree)
    • City name

    @Ras

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm going to look into adding this feature, I might need to bug you a little. I also want to see why we can't auto switch from GPS to woeid. We can detect when GPS is not working and change the display to show Internet?, so why can't we have it switch to woeid?

Yeah, I also blame this on Ian for obviously overloading the server with all the requests from releasing 6.0!

Nothing to purchase. All of the links are on page one with instructions. If you have Winterboard and want a quick out, then use this
https://www.dropbox.com/s/qmtp7g3etp...Animatedv3.zip (all props to Mamajaay from her post). To figure stuff out it helps to start at page one and read through to the end. Tedious yes, but worth while.

It's just a weather widget that can be used as LS or SB widget or an iWidget. It can be added to any other widget and modded accordingly.

same thing happened to me will just wait for Yahoo server to be up and running again
Okay, so now I'm getting the wrong city with the yahoo / woeid city codes. This is what I'm using (12790351 or USTX0775 - yahoo) and (2440183 - woeid).

It should be Little Elm, TX but it pulls up as Libagon.

I just need to step away and let the experts work all this out. Miller Time!!

Ras, please PM me the code. But you need to spoon feed it to me. I need to know what has to be cut out and what gets replaced. Is it the JQuery.js we'll be affecting most? That's the file that looks most like Greek to me.
I can do better then that, see http://modmyi.com/forums/skinning-th...o-weather.html
Any question in that thread, might benefit others as well
Yes you need jquery.min.js (I use version 1.8.2) at the moment. You do NOT need to edit anything in that file!!!

I'll check it out. So how do I go about getting the geolocation javascript running in a webclip html and saving the latitude and longitude to a database.
    Look at http://modmyi.com/forums/iphone-4-4s...ml#post6765120
The geolocation javascript starts as soon as the webclip html page opens and then saves the latitude and longitude automatically to the database. There is no interaction needed, no "Save" button to press. Just open the page, close the page, done!
Really it is that dead simple!

    EDIT
You could even leave all the html display stuff out and call the icon "GPS Update"
Then on the tap of an icon you updated your GPS

i've turned off the GPS in Config.js and i keep getting a different city. Is that the only file I need to change?

Yes, I can agree with Ras, that it is that simple, as I've used it and it works great. I just happen to travel frequently to varying cities and prefer myLocation.

No, not without some changes... rasputin007 has something interresting, but i must look (for me, it seems not very accurate, but maybe a good thing for some locations).

    I don't know about that.
GPS and Yahoo weather are working at the moment on Weather Elements 5.2, but not on UniAW6.0_LS, see my screenshots on the previous page.
