I've already done my own testing with coordinates around Indianapolis. The same problem is there as Philly and other major cities. When it's raining in the city - the close suburbs will just say Cloudy. Happened all yesterday up and down East Coast with the tropical storm rain. It was raining heavy EVERYWHERE.. But Yahoos read outs for the suburbs around DC, New York, Philly, Baltimore, Alexandria, VA, all said "Cloudy" all day. It's just a fact - anyone can test - Yahoo stays focused on major cities for accuracy. So I don't just "think it", I've tested it and have empirical evidence backing my claim, bro. .. You can test it too..

What I'm most disappointed to discover is that it seems its just not a Yahoo issue as Accuweather also reported Cloudy yesterday for those same suburbs when it was for sure raining.
I'll be honest, I have lived in the suburbs for years and I do not experience the weather issues that you speak of. From Indy to Cinci or Boston.

And you can easily get any additional info that the feed does not supply without the use of the myLocation app.

iFile zip is real good and fast. Press the zip and then straight into Dropbox. All without even touching a PC.

Oh wow. Thanks for that! Moon phases seems fairly easy. UniAW7 will be crazy!
Yup :-D i have no coding experience so hoping someone takes note, also a single gif for rain that varies speed depending on how heavy the rainfall is, makes sense right? Although im sure its far more difficult than we think

Speed and amount of rain can be altered in UNIAW already pretty easily. No need for a gif.

Would be good for the pane though.

Although maybe not. It will look weird with the drips going down the glass really slow lol

this guy automated it depending on how heavy the rainfall is the gif would run faster creating the illusion of heavy vs light rainfall

Edit: maybe i misunderstood does uniaw already reflect how heavy rainfall is through animation? Im in az not too much rainfall lately

It doesn't at the moment. But it is not a gif, that would drain your battery in minutes! They are drop images that can be set to drop at different speeds. Much more efficient than a gif.

Cool less battery drain is always a plus. Phases of the moon would be a very cool addition though. Again dont know how hard it would be to code :-/

As King said you can change the speed of the drops as well as add more or less drops on screen at a time and change that for each different setting. Wouldn't take much at all. I did this with the clouds for my plane mod but could just as easily do it for the rain. Snow is the same, I believe Ian has set different amounts of snow on screen for snow, snow showers and heavy snow.

Would just change the number of drops on screen here:

I haven't had much time lately, but here is a mod of UniAw6.3....Thank You, Ian.....Thank You, Dacal....This is for iPhone5 only......included inside folder are 2 icono layouts, and 5 different overlays....Again, only works on iPhone 5....

    For iPh5 only: UniAW6.3SB .theme.zip

edit....posted a couple more screens to show overlays, and to point out that if you have an iphone4 and feel comfortable adjusting the css files, you can make it work for you....1) rename "UniAW6_iph5" to "UniAW6_iph4" 2) rename the 3 folders "iph5" to "iph4".....that's to get you started....One of these days I'll sit down and test widgets using Chrome as King and Dacal suggested to me!!!

Awesome work as usual man thanks alot.. hey nate any chance you could fix this for iPhone4 like you did with ferlops original? that would be amazing and much appreciated cheers!

Would indeed be very cool to have the regular Uniaw moon, appear as the proper phase for your location.

Will give it a go when I get some time.

Yes, this should be easy, but I'm not sure if you can get that info from a feed that UniAW is currently using.
