    Easiest way would probably be finding this line in the uniaw_yahoo.js:
    Code:
    document.getElementById("temp").innerHTML = tempValue + "°";
    and change it to this:
    Code:
    document.getElementById("temp").innerHTML = tempValue + "°" + "C";
    You should find that line twice, you can change both (one is just for demo mode).
    Many thanks it worked And if you had some time could you just check the PM I sent? No hurry though ! Thanks again

    so for those who already have the theme and iphone5, simply to remettres not forgetting to put in the config? js the exact number of peaks /
    but hey I do not teach you anything on it

    Again thank you to Simon, Ian, Dacal, Marty Durben and all the guys who worked on it since the beginning of the adventure uniaw6.3

    Derrick or Ian (King/anybody),
    Would this then be the correct syntax within clear.js, fair.js, etc - that would have stars - to allow star creation to happen across the full panorama when my Pano_Sun_Moon var is set to true?

    Code:
    function createAstar() {
        var starDiv = document.createElement("div");
        var image = document.createElement("img");
        image.src = "Images/Weather/moon/star" + randomInteger(1, NUMBER_OF_LIGHT_IMAGES) + ".png";
        starDiv.style.top = pixelValue(randomInteger(0, 100));
        if (Pano_Sun_Moon == true){
        starDiv.style.left = pixelValue(randomInteger(10, 1029));
        } else {
        starDiv.style.left = pixelValue(randomInteger(10, 310));
        }
        starDiv.style.webkitAnimationName =  "star_anim";
        starDiv.style.webkitAnimationDuration = durationValue(randomInteger(5, 20));
    starDiv.style.webkitAnimationDelay = durationValue(randomInteger(1, 10));
        starDiv.appendChild(image);
        return starDiv;
    }
    ??

    And Ian.. maybe I'm wrong or maybe you fixed it already in 6.3 Choice Beta.. But in 6.2.1 I think tracked down a code error that's been plaguing my forward motion on my mod.. In the HTML you create a div called:
    <div id= "starsBGContainer"</div>
    but then in the .css you refer to it as only:
    #starsBG {

    Consequently the Stars Background sky pic doesn't show. Am I understanding correctly?

    Hi Grant,

    Whew, you're getting me confused, now it's my turn to confuse you!

    The Stars.

    3 elements: stars, stars background (static) & meteors.

    To create stars over 1029px width you can add what you did in the .js file (I don't test but look ok to me) then in UniAW6_(iph type).css make the #starsContainer width 1029px. You might also have to add "overflow: hidden;" (only if you use this in SB, otherwise the stars will be seen on next 2 pages of SB).
    You should copy what you do for the stars to the meteors.

    The stars BG
    If you are using a new image 1029 wide you need to adjust the #starsBG in all weather css files that have stars, make the width 1029px.
    Then in the UniAW6.css file make the width on the #starsBGContainer 1029px, there should be no #starsBG in the main css files as you stated, this is only in each weather conditions css file.
    Again if this is a SB mod you will need "overflow: hidden;" in the #starsBGContainer settings.

    There's a few things wrong with that. I didn't look hard I just spent most the day doing tedious translations stuff. Eyes are tired.

    I think for what you want to do its easier to have the js change the star container width and also just reference a larger background image. You might want to try it like that and leave the star creation as is to see how it works out. Easier and would likely look as good.

    document.getElementById('starsContainer').style.wi dth="1029px";
    document.getElementById('starsBG').style.src="what ever folder/name you put your new images in";

    ...thx alot for that one

    It looks fine, but the whole weather animations, like the clouds, fog, the sun, the stars etc. are behind the overlay, and the fullScreenWeatherWalls are cutted at the bootom. Any way to fit the animations, and the fullScreenWeatherWalls, between the top clock and the bottom, so that no aminations and fullScreenWeatherWalls are cutted off
    hello friend, I know it is not perfect because not had time to test all the animations.
    and you are right I will review this calmly.

    Thanks, D. I was thinking about that.. But the code you've given me there seems like it would work for a BACKGROUND single image.. Though that IS something I need to do - Ian accomplishes his nighttime look by making TWO kinds of stars.. One that is a STAR by STAR twinkling animation - and one that is a matte background picture of DISTANT stars - that don't twinkle. What my code above was for was the TWINKLING STAR by STAR animation. I just needed is to extend the 1029px width of the panorama. Ian's right - I need to add overflow: hidden to make sure it only works panoramically on main page and not extend to page 2 of SB.

    So - were you aware of the two different stars image creation process that Ian uses? And if so - is the alternate code you gave me there to address the twinkling stars? Or the static image? It looks to me like your help there is for the static starsBG image..

    ----
    And Ian - from your last post to me.. Am I to understand that starsBGContainer and starsBG are two different elements? Because starsBGcontainer is called for in the html but never defined at all in the UniAW6.css file.. in 6.21_WB

    Thought this might interest some others so copied it from the PM.

    Hey Ian, I needed some help ! I wanted to know how can I add more stuff like desc, wind, pressure etc to touch feature ( by default only forecast is avail ) ! a small tut would be appreciated ! many Thanks
    Hi,

    Not too hard this one, I'm sure you will get it in minutes.
    Open the LockBackground.html file and look for this:

    <div id="TouchForecast" class="forecastMoveUp">
    <div id="forecastbg" class="fade-in-wall"></div>
    <div id="forecastInfo" class="fade-in-wall">

    Now make some space for other things, like this:

    <div id="TouchForecast" class="forecastMoveUp">

    <div id="forecastbg" class="fade-in-wall"></div>
    <div id="forecastInfo" class="fade-in-wall">

    Now lets add some stuff:

    In the same file, look for the div with what you want to add.
    e.g. lets add City and description (desc)
    So, cut the div for city and desc and paste it into the space you made earlier, like this:

    <div id="TouchForecast" class="forecastMoveUp">
    <div id="city"></div>
    <div id="desc"></div>

    <div id="forecastbg" class="fade-in-wall"></div>
    <div id="forecastInfo" class="fade-in-wall">

    Thats it.

    And Ian - from your last post to me.. Am I to understand that starsBGContainer and starsBG are two different elements? Because starsBGcontainer is called for in the html but never defined at all in the UniAW6.css file.. in 6.21_WB
    Yes and no, the starsBG is the static stars image name, the starsBGContainer is just a container I place the image in.

    Okay.. but wouldn't the starsBGContainer need to get defined in the UniAW6.css to appear? I just can't see an entry for it. And I don't see the starsBG called for anywhere in the Widget.html.. That's why I thought there was a misspelling. Should know better. You're a master coder.. I'm a beginner.. I just realized from your last post that there's whole FRICKIN' folder of other '.css' files for JUST the weather elements.. Ugggh.. I'm such a noob.. I found SO many things I was looking for in those folders.. including the style definition for Static_cloud.. I feel like I know where I'm going now.. Almost done this mod to make all distant sky images be moving panoramically. Am having fun learning... I hope someone else doesn't release it first - just 'because they can'.. LOL!!!!!!
